NB. 'Guidance Notes' and 'League Rules' for 2005/06 are now in line with the Handbook.

New Rules 2005/06 - a reminder

There are a number, which will be printed in the handbook but three to be aware of now are: -

1. The “window” is extended forward to 11.30am. ie for Midland Premier and Midland Div 1 1st X1s 11.30am – 2.30pm.
For other 1st X1s it is 11.30am – 4.00pm. This brings us into line with the Midland Women’s League.
Clubs should check with their home venue; if they have a change over at 11.30am they can use that slot,
and also inform their 1st XI members that they may have to travel for an 11.30am start.

2. Numbered Shirts. These are now extended down to the 3rd Team League.
Third teams may already play in a set of numbered shirts, if not clubs will have to order new sets (home and away), or two sets of numbers. Our sponsors, Coaching Solutions, are kit suppliers and can supply numbers or numbered shirts. We recommend that clubs ask them for a quote. Sponsorship is two way, their support, now starting its third season, has kept our affiliation fees from rising, we should support them when we can.

3. All matches must be played on artificial turf pitches.

Wishing everyone another productive and memorable season ...
      - as player, umpire, official or spectator
            - for all the RIGHT reasons ...
